Welcome to the T&C of La Jolla Star Transportation, officially operating as Luxurious Transportation Inc. These terms govern your use of our services and website. By making a reservation, using our website, or communicating with us, you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.
- General Information
La Jolla Star Transportation has been proudly providing chauffeured services since March 2002. We operate 24/7/365 and serve clients throughout Southern California, including San Diego, Los Angeles, and surrounding airports such as SAN, LAX, SNA, BUR, and PSP.
Our services include, but are not limited to: airport transportation, corporate travel, wedding limo service, group charters, event transportation, private city tours, and hourly car service.
- Booking and Payment
- All bookings require a valid credit card on file at the time of reservation.
- For sedans and SUVs, cards are charged after service unless otherwise arranged.
- For Sprinters, limousines, or buses, a 25% non-refundable deposit is charged at the time of booking.
- Full payment is due at the conclusion of service, unless pre-arranged billing terms apply.
- Cancellation and No-Show Policy
- Sedans & SUVs: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup will be charged in full.
- Sprinters & Buses: Cancellations made within 14 days incur a 50% fee. Within 7 days, 100% of the total is charged.
- No-Shows: Failure to contact our office or the chauffeur within 30 minutes of pickup time will result in a full fare charge.
All cancellation fees are strictly enforced due to the nature of service allocation.
- Hourly Car Service
- Hourly charters require a 4-hour minimum for all vehicle types.
- Travel time is billed garage-to-garage.
- Additional fees apply for stops, wait time, and after-hour pickups (11 PM – 5 AM).
- Airport Car Services
- A 30-minute grace period is provided for domestic arrivals; 45 minutes for international flights.
- Additional wait time is billed at the vehicle’s hourly rate.
- Meet & Greet Service is available upon request and billed separately ($25–$85 depending on location and vehicle).
- Flight tracking is standard; delays are accounted for automatically.
- Additional Charges
Additional charges may apply for:
- Extra stops, route changes, parking, tolls
- Pet travel without a carrier: $15–$30
- Child seats: $10 each
- Excessive cleaning: $500+
- Smoking in vehicle: $500
- Carpet or seat damage: $250+
- Lost/damaged/broken decanter: $100.00
- Lost/damaged/broken glass $15.00
A detailed receipt is issued after each trip.
- Passenger Conduct and Safety
- No smoking, eating, or illegal drug use is permitted in any vehicle.
- Passengers must remain seated and wear seat belts at all times.
- Standing through sunroofs or causing disturbances is prohibited.
- The chauffeur reserves the right to terminate service if the conduct endangers safety. No refunds will be issued.
- Liability
La Jolla Star Transportation is not responsible for:
- Items left behind in vehicles
- Delays due to weather, traffic, or mechanical failure
- Missed flights or events due to unforeseen delays
In the event of a breakdown, we will make every effort to provide a substitute vehicle. If unavailable, a refund is limited to the amount paid for that trip.
- Vehicle Use and Capacity
- Vehicles may not be loaded beyond their certified passenger capacity.
- We reserve the right to subcontract a ride to a trusted affiliate when necessary.
- Final charges are determined after service is completed and include all applicable fees.
- Privacy and Dashcams
Certain vehicles are equipped with dashcams for safety. Recordings are stored securely and accessed only if required by management, insurance providers, or legal authorities. For full details, refer to our Privacy Policy.
- Modifications
These Terms and Conditions may be updated at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any revisions.
